Never Seduce a Scot: The Montgomerys and Armstrongs

Never Seduce a Scot: The Montgomerys and Armstrongs - Really terrible. Amazon AND Audible sent me emails recommending this thing, so I read it, and boy, did I ever not like it. I don't think I've ever gotten a good recommendation from either source. I should try to remember that.Every plot twist is telegraphed, and the characters...well, frankly, this read like a romance novel written by an alien who had been shown the synopsis of Outlander or something. The people do not behave like humans. Don't read this thing. Sylvia Day writes similar stuff that is actually enjoyable and won't insult your intelligence.Oh, and all the women (except the one who wants to be a man) are assholes. Shame on you, Banks; female writers should know better. Way to fail the Bechdel Test.Trigger Warning: I guess be weary of the ending. It's not bad, but there is some (non-sexual but creepy) abuse at the hands of the bad guy.
